Aberdeen: Teacher Vacancy
Melville-Knox Christian School Aberdeen is a proposed independent Reformed Christian primary school. We are delighted to announce this exciting development where our school board of directors are seeking to recruit a class teacher (potential head teacher) who will help to take forward our vision for Christian Education in Scotland. The successful candidate will need to be a committed Christian and member of a confessional church, as well as GTCS registered. This position would require a practitioner who is committed to planning and implementing the highest quality learning and teaching experiences that will effectively help meet the varied needs of our pupils. This will include involvement in curriculum development rooted firmly in the shared vision and ethos of our school.
Despite being at the planning stage, we have already established our school board and partnership with Melville-Knox Christian Schools, have a viable building for the school, and an interested group of parents supporting this work. This job advert is based on the pending nature of successfully registering as a school with the Education department in Scotland. The projected start date for the school is August 2021 and the salary will likely be between £24,000 and £27,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
